Our Business English course prepares students to negotiate a diverse business world using English in a global context. It gives students the language they need to work in an international company or to conduct business with native and non-native English speakers. The Business English program is a 12-week course with four 3-week modules.

Course prerequisite:
Strong intermediate and ABILITY ESP (English for Special Purposes) Exam. Current students in upper-intermediate or advanced can enter directly. If you are not sure of your level, you can book online for our entry test here or if you are not in Sydney we can send you or your agent an entry test.
Our Recommendation:
Business English is for you if you need language and work skills for working in business. The course actively tests and trains students' language abilities in a variety of real-life contexts. It exposes students to the demands of the workplace. This course specifically increases students' speaking skills.

Business English - Course description
Our Business English program equips students with the practical speaking, reading, writing, listening and other skills students need to communicate fluently with business people all over the world.
ABILITY Education will help students succeed in a business career by working with them to rapidly increase their English language and related skills.
Our course is built around very practical day-to-day business skills so that students acquire both a wide range of commercial expertise as well as an in-depth understanding of the language.
Business English Sample Timetable
At ABILITY Education we have 2 different start times for our day courses:
- Timetable 1: start: 8.30am, finish 2.30pm
- Timetable 2: start 9.00am, finish 3.00pm
Courses and levels start at different times. The student’s timetable will depend on the course type and the level of the student. You will be told your start time on your first day. Because students have different break times they have even more access to:

- new computers
- student services
