Why CAE?Ability Education provides a course of intensive tuition for students to undertake the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English exam. This exam is aimed at people who confidently and flexibly use written and spoken English in an effective way for study, social purposes and who communicate well on complex issues, including writing in a clear, well structured and detailed way.
Course duration: Each Cambridge course is of 12 weeks duration, other than January courses which are 10 weeks.
Time: 8.45am – 2.45pm
Hours per week: 25 hours, Monday to Friday

Course pre-requisitesTo enter this course, students need Upper Intermediate to Advanced level English — equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) level of 6.0.
Course descriptionOur Cambridge ESOL examination CAE course is for people who use English fluently. Exam preparation includes realistic writing tasks, including business letters and brochures; building vocabulary and emphasis on speaking and listening to understand. Students also gain a good grasp of grammar.
 
CAE is truly international, officially recognised worldwide by employers, universities and government departments as a qualification in advanced English.
 
The CAE exam has five parts, which include reading and understanding a range of advanced publications; writing a range of messages etc using information from different types of input; use of English, including grasp of grammar and breadth of vocabulary; listening to show you understand a range of spoken material; and speaking to demonstrate your ability to take part in different types of interaction with others.
