Culture Day 2010!

Dear students and students to be,

How are you all? Well, here in rainy Sydney we are going to bring in some ray of light on the 17th June. Gathered in our hub at Central Campus from morning til the afternoon each room on level 4 will be converted magically to a far, far place. Actually, the rooms will be decorated to represent the 30 plus countries we have attending our multi-cultural school. With tempting smells from all the yummy cuisine to hypnotic rhythms from exotic cultures students will be welcomed and enticed into every room on level 4. Meanwhile, level 5 will be the official theatre space. The Upper-Intermediate and advanced students have the duty to entertain the 400 plus audience with songs, dance, drama- performances of any kind. The pressure is on this year after Team Japan wowed the judges last year by singing, dancing and being amazing! Who will win for best food, room decoration and performance this year? We will see on the day and then celebrate together after school at Side Bar where the official after party will take place.

Well, I hope this engaging letter bought a molecule of excitement into your lives on such a grey wintery day. See you all with huge smiles and laughter on the day. Don’t forget the 17th June!!!

Hugs and kisses,

Adriana Petkov
