Student Activities and Excursions

Central to Ability Education’s school philosophy is that students should feel comfortable and relaxed in practising their English language skills. Research has shown that students who enjoy what they are doing, will learn faster and more easily.

Every month, we take our students on a school excursion to one of a range of interesting and enjoyable locations where they practise English outside of the classroom. Our excursions are structured to incorporate learning activities while enjoying the sights of Sydney. The cost of excursions is included in tuition fees.

We also want students to feel comfortable and quickly make friends with fellow students. As well as the excursions, we organise regular social activities. Students can join our staff on Friday nights for informal socialising (including at cafés and restaurants).

For those interested in sport, we organise football, golf and volleyball games, bike riding, surfing and snow skiing trips. We also inform students about local cultural activities, dance parties and other events that may be of interest to students.
